Dr Estel's remark in paragraph 2 that the number of Schools and the number of Scholars have been doubled every decade since 1866 shows clearly the progress that is being made.
The report calls for special notice from the Government, where there were changes of any great importance during the period under review. When the Central School is removed from its present unhealthy and incommodious quarters, it is confidently expected that a great impetus will be given to education.
The new building is making steady progress, and I believe the next Annual Report will contain a reference to it opening.
